Summer weather thread 2024

Looking like weekend is going to flip the country.
Hoping to get sun and warm temps in south west while Scotland/north gets the trash cold and wet.

After days of **** I hope this comes true!

Yup so much for an Indian summer, September has been pretty brutal barring one day.

It's been awful today, cold windy and ******* down with rain on and off.

It's actually been best day in South West for a while. Cold but sunny!

We've just had hailstone here lol.

I got drenched on the second half of a hire e-bike ride this afternoon, but apparently there was hail at Longleat Center Parcs campus, which my better half got caught in.

Finally get to put the duvet back on the bed.

We were about to put our winter duvet (7.5 tog) back on, but forecast shows temperatures going back up to 21ºC by next Wednesday so I guess we'll be holding off and sticking with our summer one for a couple more weeks (1 tog ).
