Super Southern Meet (turn it up to) XI

Anyone convoying with me this time? Based in BN15 but will drive a short(ish) distance to convoy if poss, otherwise will just tootle up on my own. :)

I have the slight disadvantage of a slow car this time though.

Cliesthenes, why are you taking the motorway when you can go straight along the A272 and across? Much more direct, and far less boring. Plus I can meet you part way along! Will take no longer, and is 15 miles shorter, on non-M roads... ;)

I think everyone should head down to the 272 and go along.... :p

Don't see the point of convoying on a motorway.

It is a MK1 Octavia BlueLine (limited edition with metallic blue paintwork, VRS spoiler, different wheels, and Ambiante spec...) but it has the 90HP 1.9TDI... :(

Can get it to around 145HP with injectors, hoses, and remapping, but I'm not sure its worth it... It may also blow up. :p

Most likely meet up with you there even if a few of us meet up closer to Dartford before hand.

Happy to meet at cobham services, only 20 mins down the road from me.

It's a bit of a nicer drive, though not really a spirited driving road due to random villages leading to 30/40 speed limit. I've never encountered a lot of traffic on it driving from/to Winchester-Guildford.
 
Also in for meeting at Cobham. Stephen, text me the morning of/night before and we can meet up en route to there if you want.
