because the character & story of Hayley was a male called Harold who wanted to be a woman and wanted that offensive item removing from the body.
On the other hand, my mate who is transitioning doesn't want his female penis removing and is engaged to a very beautiful woman.

No it still doesn't make sense.
If a woman's penis is a perfectly normal part of a woman, then why would it be "offensive" to any woman?
The only way a woman's penis could be offensive to its owner*, is if a penis is associated with the male sex.
Otherwise, if a penis can belong to either sex equally, then a woman removing her woman's penis is just self-mutilating.
*Does the person own the penis or vice versa? That's another topic.

To me it's very easy to understand and I'm an old man.
Gender is a strange thing and people can have whatever feelings they like, if they want to be a woman and keep their penis so be it.
If they want it cutting off then go for it.
My mate wants to keep hers and as far as I know gets to use it a lot on her girlfriend who is a normal woman but I can't work out if she's a lesbian or not.

I actually think he is a porn actor. So unless you get propositioned to sleep with transexuals on camera, I think it is fairly unique experience
