Just bought some multivitamins and cod liver oil. Oh my god how bad they smell and taste!

Don't have too much cod liver oil, general fish oil for Omega's, you can take pretty much all you want, they are for the omega's only, cod liver oil has a decent whack of Vitamin D in it, you without question do NOT want lots of Vit D, too much is very very bad for you.

Nothing wrong with cod liver oil, but don't exceed recommended dosage at all, while omega pills without vit D, go crazy on them.

Hehe, prior warning to anyone starting on jack3d.

Try and take it before about 5pm, I took it after 6 last week and couldn't get to sleep until about 2am :/

Epic. Might give the missus some and suggest she do some house work.

I thought it was the vit A in cod liver oil that was the problem?

Okay, where can I buy Jack3d from? Looked on MyProtein and BodyBuildingWarehouse but couldn't find it?

Secondly, what is better Jack3d or NO SHOTGUN? I've only been lifting for the last 6 months or so, and really do give it my all. I don't slack at all and I do a 4 week spread, if that's of any relevance.

You're a generous man, thank you! Would be this something you'd add to a pre-working shake already containing whey? Or would you have your Jack3d before a session, and then save the whey for post-workout?

From what i can find there is nothing wrong with the amount of vitamin D (only 15ug combined between the two tablets).

Vitamin A looks similar. Cod liver oil is 800ug(2664 I.U) per tablet and the multiv is 2400ug(8000I.U) per tablet.

Wiki says 'In general, acute toxicity occurs at doses of 25,000 IU/kg of body weight, with chronic toxicity occurring at 4,000 IU/kg of body weight daily for 6–15 months.' and a few other places say similar. 1 I.U is 0.3ug so that would be about 1200ugx70 for 'chronic toxicity' (unless ive forgotten how to do math).

Surely they wouldnt reccomend taking one daily on the bottle if it was going to be bad for you? Or am i too naive :p

Just took my Jack3d, the Beta Alanine is kicking in, what a strange feeling. Off for a workout now, I'll report back later.

Had an epic workout on Jack3d for the first time. I felt really strong and pushed some decent weight, and still feel dead focused. Looking forward to seeing the results of a month of using this.

For those that like their pre-workout fix (Jack3d etc) keep an eye out for 'Nutrex Hemo-Rage' think it's a relatively new product.
I don't take either one but it is getting very positive reviews over here and people are much preferring it to Jack3d :)

i take a omega 3-6-9, a fish oil and a cod liver oil every day, all of these are super strength.

on top of that i take 1 optimen 3 times a day.

i feel better than ever.

your supposed to take jack3d on an empty stomach, this means at least 30 mins after eating something.

it also gets to work within 15-45 mins, and during that time your not supposed to eat anything either.

what i do is, peanut butter sandwich, wait 30 minutes, take jack3d, get ready and head straight into my gym. after my workout i then have a shake straight away, then prepare a meal to consume, after the meal i take an optimen (multi vit) and 1 of my 3 different oil caps.

i do this thoroughly with military timing due to the amount of info out there on jack3d on bodybuilding.com. taking it with a full stomach or with a shake can diminish its effects. so follow a similar routine to mine.

Jack3d is amazing, been on it for just over a week now and im loving it. i never get tired in the gym and can push myself a lot harder, and i mean a lot harder than without it.

Cant wait to give ASGT a try in 4 weeks time, will report back on that and how it compares.

I would take whey after.

When you day after,do you mean after the workout, or straight after the Jack3d? And do you take Jack3d half hour before a sesh, or 5 minutes? Sorry for all the questions :p

EDIT:
Ooops, posted that and then saw Sonny's response! That's great mate, cheers for the info! Will have a look at purchasing some today :)

like i said before, different people have different absorption rates, i honestly cant tell when its kicked in, but i definitely know it has because i dont get tired and i am totally focused.

i take it, then get ready (usually 5-10 mins, putting training gear on, trainer's etc), i then head into my gym (30 second walk from my room to my garage), i then set up my equipment for my first exercise (5 minutes) then get stuck in.

so i take it then head straight to it, but by the time i actually start my first set, 15 mins has usually elapsed. it's all about timing with jack3d, ill need to read up on state gt and see how that works best, its pity its not very well used in america, otherwise bodybuilding.com would have a wealth of info.
