you need to download and install the latest direct x, i had the same problem when i updated aswell
 
Anyone used that brute of an artillery gun yet? It took me almost an hour to build the thing, at which point it was too late because the enemies were all destroyed. But this thing wipes out anything, anywhere on the map with a single shot, and it reloads every 5 seconds or so. Absolute BEAST :D

Another experimental device, that big robot-type guy with the circular feet - it just makes mince-meat out of the Fatboy mobile yard. The fatboy is good, but no use against other experimentals. Same goes with the Czar (UFO thing) - gets taken down in seconds by AA guns.

Really love this game. You can set transport planes to automatically ferry newly-created units from one or more land factories to a destination that you specify, all without you having to interfere. Units get created; drive towards waypoint; transporter(s) pick up waiting units; transporters drop off units at waypoint; transporters return for more units. The amount of stuff that can be automated in this game is brilliant.

Too right. I built the gun in the above pic in a singleplayer game. I wouldn't have got it built if playing against a human player, it would have been taken out at some stage.

Out of interest, what length are most of your games when you play against other people online? In 1v1 and 2v2 mode.

had one last 3 hours before
that was huge tho, we ended up having a nuke to nuke fight but we each had enough anti nukes to stop it being an issue
only way I won was with the "make 500 lvl 3 gunships and take out his anti nukes then fire all your nukes at one" trick.
also blowing up his comm next to part of his base helped!

there are still a few bugs I'd like to see ironed out tbh.
 
Had a great game last night, finally managed to build that damn tech 4 arty and man was it fun using it. Pitty the other guys partner left after I had had some fun with my 10 tech 3 gunships lol, never leave tech 3 mass fabs and power plants undefended rofl :D

Luckily the other guy knew what he was doing but after 3-4 hours he had to go to bed :( , but at least I used my tech 4 arty it is awesome.

Would be up for a game tonight if anyone is around.
