• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. Surely even I can't be THIS unlucky!

I use 3 screens - 2 off HDMI and one off DVI-D - the 2 running off the HDMI cables don't display at all until the windows splash screen when they show a thin slither like your op pic then go to surround on windows desktop

The DVI-D cable shows fine - I see your running DP and have tried HDMI - have you tried on DVI-D?

A CD of windows mini that runs directly from your cddrive that way you will know if its a res issue within 1 minute lol

Ah - I get it!!

Actually, no, i don't :(

Can you expand on that pls? Just install windows and see if the installation screen has same problem?

did you uninstall previous drivers before you swap cards?

(sorry if already answered) so when you put 580 back in it works fine?

For mini xp get Hirens BootCD v13.0 run it from that boot disc it has load off other tools as well.

Use a live cd of Ubuntu or even boot a widows CD. If you have no visual display in very basic areas of your system. I.E Bios and boot manager, then it is most likely hardware corruption on some level.
