Glaucus, do you have an AFK sampling macro to hand? I've looked and looked and all the ones I can find, don't seem to work for me. I'm sure it's nothing to do with me....;)

Happy to help get some grinding resources for you. I guess energy would be best to power harvesters?
 
I'm going to install this again when i get home, SWG was the first and best mmo i've ever played, used to be Ganesh on farstar. Count me in for the guild.

Name: sampling

/kneel;
/sample;
/pause 500;
/sit;
/pause 95;
/macro sampling;

500 you will need to change, it's time in seconds for your action pool to drain, so you can't sample.
95 is again time in seconds for how long it takes whilst sat down to regen your action pool.

Remember you regen faster without amor on.
I believe humans never run out of action whilst sampling.
 
Is it just me or do the delivery missions not work very well either? I just go to the first waypoint and there's nothing there. Am I doing them wrong :o?
 
Found a way to force AA without the use of FXAA. FPS cap changer works too.

My ping is around 160-180 ms, my character randomly jumps back to the place he was in 15 sec ago, it's unplayable.

And I don't know how to craft anything, or what missions to do for that matter.

Have you ever played SWG before?
 
No wonder you have no idea! I would be completely and utterly screwed if I hadn't played before. SWG kicks you out the door in to the cold like a 4 year old orphan :o

We should get on the OcUK mumble server with this, makes comms so much easier. Would be happy to walk real ultranoobs through some things.

They are buggy I had about 7 so far with no NPCs at WP,btw I did notice when I logged off with no NPC at WP and then the server went done and came back up 30 minutes later the NPC appeared but was 20 metres further down.


I remember these being buggy in the original SWG game,however at these you had some basic transport back then in your inventory rather then having to run around until you can buy a swoop with enough money.
 
well ive set up temporary shop, just north of mos oasis, 2244, -3212
got one other houses deed, and can make more relatively fast. found most resources i need some 76% others only into 30%. so ill be setting up some factories up. here, so if anyone wants to come join me, more than welcome. Untill we get our hand on a city hall and politician and decide where to go.

I didnt bring any money with me for maintence though. And really need to by a speeder.

I'm pretty certain it was the other way around... you had to save up to buy a swoop when the game first came out, and it was that way for years. You only got given a mount after the CU/RoTW if I recall?
 
errh it was months before mounts and transport came into the game.

I still remeber the long run to Tuskan fort and crying when you got killed on the way.

Old school swg was epic!!!

Swoops weren't even in the game.
You had to walk every where or use Shuttles. Eventually you were big and bad enough to afford an animal mount. That was the only transport at release and for quite some time afterwards. Creature handlers made big bucks on training mounts and selling them. I want animal mounts. I had a pet ronto at one point, can't remover if he was a mount or not, he was awesome.
When swoops first came in it was. A total night mare there wasnt enough people who could repair them and there where literally thousands scattered all over the cities on fire.
 
Shame CH is not in game yet. Used to play Commando and CH. My pet Gruel Maulers named MeetTheWife was the talk of the server :D
