I can't wait for CH I don't care if there's a server wipe when that's introduced, actually that's a lie, it would be easier to only retarain and rebuild one skill.
 
I was getting some good fibreplast when the whole game became unresponsive. Almost like a disconnect, where you can move about and everyone else is frozen, but it lasted a good couple of mins before I /quit.

Vehicles took a good few months to come after launch. The 20 min long trek from Dantoonie starport to the Crystal Caves was a pita, especially if you bumped into a DJM along the way - which we seemed to with uncanny frequency :o

Is it just me, or are things especially hard to solo? I picked up a couple of missions and one was to take out a birds nest. They conned blue to me, so should have been a piece of cake but two spawned as I was hitting their nest and killed me. Then hung around until I stood up after being incapacitated and took me out again, and again until it was a trip to the cloners.

Yeah things are weird like that... everything is red to me but I can solo some things... weird.

When swoops first came in it was. A total night mare there wasnt enough people who could repair them and there where literally thousands scattered all over the cities on fire.

That's when I first played the game ie Pre-CU but swoops were just available,I had that crappy free slow vehicle as a newbie(can't remember the name) when I first logged in back in those days ,however it got destroyed by a Kryrt while exploring (best favour a Kryt did for me lol).

Squill cave was fun back then getting buffed and going in with a group or guild :) .


I remember after Pre-CU when they changed the game to be more WoW like ie coloured icons ,made mobs easier etc and added levels etc...NGE was the final nail in the coffin ,sad days.

Remember the bug to get free repair on your swoop by leaving it out when catching a transport :D?
 
I need to do surveying to get a swoop, but it's so tedious without. Found 78steel at mos Asia and 76% copper at mos espisly, so can do 1k mission each way, shuttle is 100 each way. So about 1800 profit for return journey. I'll just have to get on with it tonight. I need money and I need a swoop. Need to a minimum off 10 return trips.
Got my first wind and mineral extractor up and house. Hopfully this will help give me the resources for architect grind.

When wind says 5KG an hour and steel 1KG, how many units is that?

I remember all the players that left their swoops out while kryt hunting lol,so many were destroyed and I made some profit selling them my spare swoop ,thing was they kept on doing it ie leaving their swoops out,never learned hehe...

Swoops with 2185hp here vendors outside Coro for 9000cr, how much are they at Tat :eek:?!

I'm doing destroy missions at 2000cr each, so that's 4000cr every trip out. Get yourself novice brawler and just smash up some lairs for a bit? I guess it's not that easy on Tat, can always come to Coro for a bit to get some money and then go back to Tat when you fancy.

15k seems to be cheapest, im going to have to level up rifle aren't i so i can do some destroying mission. they aren't giving me steel missions anymore.

Oh by the way, if anyone else is stuck in the tutorial because the ****ing Corporal won't give you the damn papers... I worked out what it is. You need to use the mission terminal opposite him (which just tells you that you can't use it, and that you need to use one on a planet) before he'll give you them. :mad: :o

:edit: Just logged off one character to log the other in, server cap reached! FML.

No use, I'll try again in an hour or so. I wonder what the population cap will be on the final server?

Can anyone remember what the cap was on the old official SWG servers?

I was hoping to group up to level Brawler and get the show on the road! Maybe this evening if I can get on.

Arrrghhh I'll keep trying for another 5 mins, if not its time for a long run methinks, the weather is nice for once.
 
Just wanted to say, this being playable again is actually my gaming dream come true. It's hard to find the words to describe how awesome this is :o
