Hi Marky, next time you are online give me a shout (IGN Phyl) and I'll help you out.

In the meantime, I would recommend travelling to Coronet. Not only are the creatures on the missions a little easier, it tends to be busier.

Pop in to the cantina, look for an AFK player Paris-Healton (in the corner on the left when you go in).

Sit on the chair in front of her (him?) and you will get an automatic group invite and receive free mind buffs. (it takes a minute or two to receive the buff, make sure you are watching / listening to them or it doesn't work).

I would then pop to the medical centre and see if there is a Doctor with the (HELPER) tag, you might get a free buff, other wise its normally 5K-7K (quite a lot when you are starting).

I would then recommend running missions and buy a speeder asap (cheapest 5K, usually 7K-9K.)

Thanks a lot dude :) I'll give you a shout if you're on :) I just logged in, and for some reason I'm stuck looking top down to my character :/ I can't look around or anything :( Any ideas?
 
Hmm, perhaps the camera is locked? Can you switch to mouse pointer mode (default ALT) and then go into options and change the camera?

edit - just had a look at the keymap, the default to lock camera angle is NUMPAD 0.

Okay it's really weird but I've just logged in for the third time and it's no longer locked :p Strange :p
 
it turns out there is an error in the code causing craft macros to fail so I am not going mad. Got a version working but its more time consuming than me clicking each item :)

Will wait on Glaucus :)

ugh I just tried crafting macro for camps..

Seems /nextcraftingstadge is broke or something?

any workaround?
 
could you not just create an external macro with Autohotkey to simulate the mouse clicks. Used to work quite well with Eve *whistle* ;)

Why is there so much hate for the X-34 Landspeeder? I know it's the slowest vehicle, but it's fantastic! Roaming around Tat in one, arm hanging out the side, dodging sand people. Then park it up outside Kendobi's shack and watch the twin suns set :)
 
Played this almost non-stop yesterday, I'd forgotten how good it was. Out in the middle of nowhere on Tat with a camp set up and a raging sandstorm going on all around, nothing quite like it :)

I should have some time free to play this weekend, now that I have a speeder I can hopefully make money a little quicker.

I notice some people are selling composite armor for 250K!!!! Back in the day I remember getting full sets for 50K, the sooner we can get a crafter in our ranks the better. Has anyone found some cheap kinetic resist armor? For mobs normally the helmet / chest / gloves / boots combo suffice. Ubese was always good.

As I said earlier I am aiming for Master Smuggler so will be able to slice the weapons and armor we make / buy.

Yes I got it running, but encountered a problem with my keyboard cos i needed to press a function key and my keyboard was not set to show them.

Will try and get into it later today.

Server been down twice today seems they having a few problems

Had just been buffed and was ready to tear my way to Master
 
Seems good so far, the amount of afk macro people is crazy though, its good to see so much happening but i don't remember there ever been so much of that going on

Not surprising since its still pre-alpha I think,a lot of the delivery missions are bugged ie no npc respawning so you end up with wasting money on shuttles and swoop repairs for nothing.
 
The attack bug is annoying, that's three missions in a row I've been chased all the way back to mos eisely, been killed and still they appear at clone facility :(
