SWG Emu

I'm away at the weekend and all next week.
I'll try and remote connect next week through tablet, but it's not the easiest to control. Probably be able to sample and craft, but that's about it. So tomorrow and Sunday evening need to do missions get enough money to keep structures running.
 
Is there a thread somewhere on the emu forums which explains exactly what is and isn't in the build they are working too ? i was around when the gcw update hit and that was the start of things getting worse for me, are Jedi Tef's still in 14.1?

I cant believe how close they are with it compared to when i first tried it, i made a character today and it was extremely nostalgic, i surprised myself how quickly i picked it up again

There going to face some interesting decisions at some point, the game was constantly broken but i think that was half of its appeal, surely if they fix everything then its not really 14.1 is it? there also going to have some interesting decisions on how to move on from 14.1, if there ends up been as much arguing as there was on the soe forums at around the time of 14.1 then surely there will eventually be fragmentation of the code.

They need to get it more or less there and let it run for 6 months but i bet that wont happen, it would be awesome to see the servers running efficiently enough to allow for massive populations and some graphical improvements.

Not yet, if you go to the development forum they have a status thread.

Stopped playing while they sort out a few bugs with the missions etc as its struggling with so many people online. Well impressed so far though!!
 
Got a proper session in this evening, I'd forgotten how little this game holds your hand, took hours to earn 3k and I'm just about ready to fill those first few boxes of scout and marksman.

I've been killed 4 times by Kreetles, I think I've spent an hour in the Cantena healing mind wounds and all my gear (I say all, my CDEF carbine!) is shot to pieces.

So much fun.

Their insistance you use original disks is to cover themselves against lawsuits as much as possible, any copy will actually work fine.

This was an issue Alter.IWnet had, the actual editing of the game files is not against the law, but distributing the files would be.
 
Where's a good place to kill some low level mobs? Just started up again and i'm on naboo, a nuna outside theed chased me for miles before killing me.
