System builders are not happy with Ivy Bridge

Ive got to RMA the LP RAM I bought once it gets here since I can't afford both the RAM and SSD currently. Check out my thread on my build took me a good few hours (cable tidying... lots of cable tidying...)

My new SSD and PSU have been sitting here for a few weeks doing absolutely nothing, other than tantalising me. Just waiting on the case, CPU cooler and 3570K now.

I always prefer to order all my parts within a few days of each other. You should never buy them piece meal, as in general, they lose value with time. Effectively, the moment the parts hit my door mat, they are start losing value.

Also bear in mind that of all components, SSDs are falling fastest, in price. I got my Cruical 128GB (ordered 2 days ago), for £90. Had I bought it 2 months ago, I probably would've had to pay 25% more.

Apparently, what is happening is that there is a price war going on with SSDs (much like there was with HDDs, a year or so ago). So, expect prices to plummet fast. In fact, I expect SSDs to begin to take a big chunk out of the HDD market, as the HDD prices do not appear to be heading back to their pre-flood prices.

I grabbed the M4 crucial as well I hope it's as good as everyone claims xD

Precisely. In these times of recession, value for money is VERY important.
This was the only reason why I shied away from the 3770k.

I didn't do so bad with the early purchases as they were on offer and Intel were doing £38 cashback on the SSD, so the 180GB ended up costing around £150 which I think is pretty good for one of the high end performance SSD's.
