Just watching play on table top play with the new models and the Space Marines are just meh. Orcs are cool but there probably be a good Orc box set at Christmas with some of the new models!
 
I see it in stock in a few places, they either made a load or it isn't that in demand. Defiler sold out quicker lol. Also, push fit.

Seen a lot of smaller LGS saying they didn't get as much as they wanted.
Even the bigger LGS near me only got about 2/3 of what they ordered; so seems the FOMO servers have been engaged again.

Suspect it's not massively in demand at £185 RRP for 61 miniatures (yes, with vehicles), plus 23 of them being Space Marines - having bought Indomitus, Leviathan and Combat Patrol I must have about 8 million points worth of Marines, as is true I suspect for a lot of people by now.

I don't think the fact it's marines that's the problem; Starter boxes have nearly ALWAYS had Marines. It's just a case of these Marines just aren't that exciting; and the box price doesn't feel amazing.
(and that's coming from someone who grabbed the Sons of Dorn box)

Problem with this one we’ve had so many awsome Chapter specific releases for Dark Angles, Space Wolves, Black Templars was about to say Blood Angles but their release was a little underwhelming and this box set just has the bog standard ones nothing really we haven’t seen before. The last box set had the new Termies.

It’s decent for anyone jumping into SM.

I mean, it wouldn't be the first time they've followed up with a 'Made to Order' to fufil demand but I wouldn't count on it being available for ages beyond launch date:

God I’d love to paint Tau, so much flat. Wouldn’t want to play as them though, my friend does sometimes and it seems a huge ballache. This pings that and those are pinging this yada yada. Plus tbh though I like how they look, it’s just never felt ‘40k’ to me, but that’s a me problem.

Ordered some 11th edition terrain footprints, sure could make myself but it was like £11 for clear ones that will last me forever.
Defilers back in stock everywhere so one of those and also another box of Murder Wing and a dark apostle as that might be handy.

Think I might have a viable list for Vashtor detachment, will need to have a look some time.
