Tabletop Warhammer?

You're more ambitious than I am, then. :p

This is where an airbrush (or even just the colour I want in a spray can) would come in handy. If I could at least prime and basecoat them quickly, it might mean I finish them within a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise it will probably take forever. :o
 
Maybe overly ambitious thinking about it :p I'm not really doing squads though (5 models max) so that makes things quicker

Will form part of my Crimson Fists. Tempted to convert the spare Tacticals into some Sternguard. Need some more Scout models to fit the theme I'm going for, though.

I've been tempted by the Island of Blood for a while now, but the trouble is at the moment, even after all the updates to armies since, I still find the Wood Elves to be the most visually appealing models in the range. :(
 
I have never played Warhammer Fantasy but now that me and my brother are older I think its more apealing now rather than just collecting 40k Models.

We are leaving it alittle longer to see what else is released but I think he wants to go warriors of chaos so I need a good counter.
 
What would be a good start army? I am not really bothered about the rules as I can access the dropbox folder. Any1 who can share some advantages/disadvantages of armies to help me decide :P

A unit of tacticals
A scout squad
A razorback
A rhino (base done)
Drop pod ( mostly done)

I have a guard army one squad done but to be honest I want to sell these.

Hell pit abom This and the bell still to arrive
a couple of rat ogres, and weapon teams

I also have 8 grey night termies i need to get on ebay.

This is my plan for painting as i much rather painting my larger walkers/flyer in my case. Sitting unpainted I have

Some of this is basecoated, one or two bits have some paint on but not much, 1/3 of it is built...... I have another order in with THW as well. Something is wrong with me!
