I don’t think anyone expected them to be discarded for a minor edition especially considering how late some of them came out. 12th will most likely continue the pattern and we will need new ones.

Battle sisters model is cool and the big bug from the kill team is sweet but apart from that not much in the new reveals.

Might try a grab the DOF box set on Saterday.

Wouldn't be the first time they've done exactly that and pushed people back to indexes. Glad they have learnt. 2 editions from one codex seems reasonable.
 
I dont understand the new guard models. They do the exact same things as existing models. Armoured car? Taurox prime. Lightly armed transport? Chimera.
