The current formula seems to be
Lambrini + Teenage girl + some sort of male + 9 months + catholic parents


Although this changes over time, the basic principles have remained unchanged for years

I don't think a child becomes fully self aware till they get vain and self-concious.
I probably am completely wrong :)
 
Theres a good number of people who answer any thread and seem to have a limitless supply of knowledge on everything and anything, I try to only answer something if I genuinly know the answer to it, but we all know the ones who seemingly know everything and anything (and of course the thread is already filled with a few of them :P)

I believe it was Sigmun Freud who first postulated that a child only becomes self aware after having passed through all 5 stages of developmental theory. In particular, he focused mainly on penis envy (jealousy based on size) and anal retentiveness (inability to flush) as indicators of a child lacking in self awareness
