Team Blue's 10900K Overclocks

lol same song diff day.

On a more productive side, what's your uncore at? ram at xmp or tune secondaries and tertiary timings? Both should help a ton with low fps as the cpu isn't stalled waiting on mem and ring operations when you need it the most.

any recommendations ?

If that is the case, why didn't you just buy the 10600/10700k?

I did think about a 10700k/kf 8cores 18threads perfect place to be in for the next few years, especially with the consoles. silicon quality poss better on higher spec cores like amd do with the 3950x and same reason why amd guys 3800X over 3700X for better clocks ect.
massive upgrade from my old 4790k though which ever way I went.

Ignore the stuff on the right column for now "trefi" and below.

Focus on the 2 left columns. Also set your dram voltage to 1.5v, vccio to 1.25 and SA to 1.35 for now.

If that doesn't work, change "command rate" to 2 instead of 1. Give it a shot.

Get asrock timing configurator also and AIDA64 (free) to test performance quickly.

Well most chips are pretty much equal when gaming at 1440p or above so besides epeen their isn’t much difference.

Everything Intel is pretty meh at the moment more interested in how they integrate over to a newer process node.

Mmmmmmmm, £24.66 actually.

Joined in 2015 with 132 posts....................................................suddenly starts posting in an Intel thread about a new CPU that no one is interested in.........................trying to justify buying said CPU..........................can't be bothered to part with £24.66 for the full 3dmark.
Now call me suspicious if you like, but that all smells to me like an Intel Plant into the forum as a sleeper. It certainly would not be the first time and no doubt, won't be the last.

That has got to be the weirdest comment I have read today

Your right. I never knew that TS standard was so bad at scaling.

Just run this TS Extreme

Yours: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/44754824?
Mine: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/12180657

The only reason my cpu score is higher is because my all core is 4.4Ghz

Its just cause Timespy is a older test that was released prior to gaming CPU's having more than 4 cores so they thought scaling up to 8 would be plenty.

Then when AMD announced the number of cores in desktop CPU's was about to explode, 3d Mark released Timespy Extreme. I don't know what the scaling limit is for Extreme but it seems to scale well with a 3960x so it supports at least 24 cores

the asrock TC wont work at all with my board,
https://ibb.co/FYQ9Fsg

also I cant get that close to your timmings or the volts! not having much luck!

https://ibb.co/mhk4q1Y - volts auto if try 1.25 IO and 1.35 SA mem recovery post kicks in

https://ibb.co/d7mWBWt
slighty better timmings still trimming each timming little by little, i'm sure tFAW at 12 don't post

intel XTU does a good job showing the ram timming

I agree, tbh I’m happy with 5ghz.

juat want to get this ram dialled in
On the ryzen it was cas14 tight with all the sun timings at 3733.
Seems like 4400 is a whole different animal

I cant seem to get my uncore ratio stable on my 10900k I can OC to 5.2 @ 1.32v stable with uncore at stock but can't get it dialed in without some instability at this voltage.

What voltage are you guys using for your oc's?

Paul has an interesting way to overclock the 10900k he just removed the pl1 and 2 and tau limiters and current, gave vcore an 0.6 offset bump and got 5.1 all core and 5.4 single (or is it two?) core:

https://youtu.be/NPk2lnCFoUA 22:00

it seems he used AIDA64 stresd test

Oh hold on he used an MSI motherboard...
