what do you think tiktok is? I'll give you examples:

me - I use it rarely, 2 times a week maybe I'll open it and what I see is car related content, car memes etc, pranks etc. Good way to kill some time when you're waiting for something etc.
my brother - he's into his 3d work, dyi etc all he sees is dyi videos, 3d animations, how-tos etc
my other half - loves crafts and kawaii culture, so she sees a lot of cute plushies, a lot of crafting videos, japan videos etc.

tiktok isn't just 14 yo's dancing to trendy music, tiktok is like youtube, you get videos suggested depending on your likes/hobbies.

With a limited video time, it sounds like an influencer's dream - they only have to spout for a short time as real information isn't going to fit. The issue with YT is that you can't make money.. almost like YT want it to close down.

Videos are up to 10 mins long on TikTok now I believe. Their going after YouTube and I’m glad. Competition can only be good.
