Ted Lasso

I noticed the episodes are around 40-45 mins. I think thats too long. 30 mins was a sweet spot for a show like this, like in S1 (cant recall running time in S2, probably 30 mins as they seemed to fly by). Same with Community, what? 20-25 mins tops. What they crammed into that amount of time was amazing.
Between S2 and S3, I remember an interview with Jason Sudeikis saying that they finally got some freedom with the timings for S3 because they'd been constrained during the first two series. He was happy that for S3, the episode lengths could vary and they'd be able to tell the full story without having to worry about it.

Yeah I think they started to lose the way in season 3 to be honest, not sure that they can drag another season out of it. The problem is they started a show with a cast of characters whose lives were intertwined. With season 3 they tried to continue all those stories with characters whose lives were no longer intertwined. I don't know whether they will try something different or try to do the same thing, I guess we find out.

I can't even remember how the show ended but its nice to hear of it returning.

We loved series 1 and 2 but even 3 felt a bit unnecessary, so 4 feels like a bit of a stretch. Love the characters and we will check it out, but I don't feel it's needed

That would be disappointing if that’s the case. I always felt like half the charm was the whole ‘fish out of water’ deal.
