Teenage Weight Loss

i was basicaly in your position around 3 years ago but perhaps worse, im 6ft 6 but i weighed around 336lbs or more, i now weigh around 202lbs (14.5 stone, it was hard at first, cutting down on the rubbish food (crisps chocolates eating at night, and replacing it for cereal and fruit when peckish, all i did at the gym was basically intense walking on the treadmill on a slight incline for a good hour to hour and a half each time, but when you get in to it it really is brilliant, the comments people give you is more than enough motivation :) it honestly was the best thing i have done in my life, and you will not regret this, good luck i hope you reach your goal :)
 
Congratulations mate! Well done.

This rapid weightloss will continue for a while considering your weight, but bear in mind this will eventually slow. It's a sign that you're progressing well and are getting fitter.

Lost 1lb since last week. Fitness already showing serious signs of improvement. Can do 10mins straight running on the tredmill again. 40lengths alternating breast/crawl down to 30:30 rather than the 37 or so I was last week.
 
Hey mate good to here, I would defo reccomend the water, water, water.

I lost two stone, 19 to 17 from basically cutting out softdrinks and snacks and drinking water instead.

I am finding it harder now though, since christmas the bad food cravings came back.

Good news, weighed myself this morning, bang on 16st. Lost 1st so far :D I am so happy, and my diet is going well and the exercise :)

I am pretty much exactly the same as you. 5"9 16st and stretch marks everywhere. Sigh. Been meaning to go to the gym but A level coursework is really mounting up on me at the moment. I suppose I will start posting in here as well. For me it is more the diet, than the lack of exercise, since I play rugby 4 times a week, but then ahppily munch away on a XL Pizza. Race you to 13 st :P

13 stone.. I don't think that's physically possible for me, unless I cut off a limb or two :D
 
I found it much easier to lose weight as a teenager. I was 6,2 or so and weighed 17 stone when I was 17. Went to the gym 3-5 times a week for 18 months and got down to 14 stone. Cut out crisps and chocolate (not totally) and replaced them with fruit, and had slightly smaller portions at meals. Didn't drink beer, stuck to vodka and whiskey, and still went out a fair amount. Back up to around 14 stone 11 pounds and 6,4" but at an easily sustainable weight that I'm comfy with.

Be sensible, don't gorge on fatty foods, and importantly....eat less, move more.

im going to be keeping an eye on this. as im doing the same as you. just started on monday, but am trying to do it all without a gym membership. using the local park and roads to run lots. squash courts. pool and weights bench at my mates house :)

Cool dude, thanks for checking here. Would like to see other peoples results, and I'm glad I've kinda inspired a few people.

My fitness have improved drastically since before, and I can now ride too and from college without breaking a sweat (not literally, but you know what I mean). Because the weathers been so nice lately, just wanna go for walks and enjoy it; I was never like this before, would be bound to the computer doing sweet FA.
