Never liked it myself, its just another drug to me
So's lemsip, what's your point?
Never liked it myself, its just another drug to me
Then you're not drinking to have fun are you? You're drinking to forget where you are. That's not an issue with the teetotal mentality. It's an issue with culture and society itself.
I go out with my mates and if it's my turn to be the designated then I drink coke or OJ and have just as much of a laugh regardless even though everyone else is drinking alcohol.
If you can't enjoy yourself without drinking then there is something not quite right.
Some people actually go out to meet new people/friends.
Ie freshers, clubs etc
People keep going on about their current friends that are already adjusted to their habits and lifestyle.
Some people actually go out to meet new people/friends.

That's right.
So I say that and people say there's something wrong with me if I can't do the same as the binge drinkers, except be sober...
It's a clear issue with Scottish society - and I suspect with at least parts of England if not most of it.
if you need to drink to have a good time then something's gone wrong somewhere.

I could imagine going to some places in Plymouth and not drinking (chilling outside at Ride, or whatever)... but I can't imagine going to a union night in Sheffield and not drinking - I would have thought ROAR would be unbearable if stone cold sober! Corp/Plug would probably make me want to top myself.

so you drink in a pub that sells lemsip? u lemsip binge?
Ever tried willpower?i intend to not have any alcohol or nicotine in january, i did it last year, the only way i can do this is to stay in
Ever tried willpower?
yeh, didn't work

haha, I can't imagine how poor Corp would be whilst sober. I'm fairly sure you'd just walk in and think "**** this" and go home![]()
