Temperatures... how hot is yours?

wow that chip redefines the word 'hot'

and the word cheap :D

had mine doing some encoding for a few hours this afternoon and it hit 72 degrees at 3.8ghz :/

was only using one core too :O

/me needs water tbh

polar ice caps tbh

houston, we have found the source of global warming.

Mine...

Hard Disk (samsung 80gig & 250gig spin points) 31c & 36c
ATI X800 XT 41C
CPU 50C with freezer pro running min setting o/c 400mhz
Mobo 33c
Room 25c with A/C on :D

RJC

At the moment in this oppresive, stuffy room it's:-

CPU - Athlon64 3200+ @ 2.2GHz - 31C idle - 36C full load. Using a Freezer Pro64.
GPU - PCI-e 6600GT 256MB - 42C idle - 55C full load.

CPU is now 37 and normally 28
PWMIC is now 50 and normally 40
NF4 is now 54 and normally 41
HD is now 57 and normally 54
GPU is now 54 idle and normally 40

Its 29 degrees room temp, side off case and windows open with a deskfan going

Room - 29c
AMD64 3700 @ 2.4Ghz - 42c idle (didn't check under load)
Case - 34c
GPU (6800GT) - 61c
All using stock cooling (but helped by 5 x 80mm case fans :) )

I have to say that I'm fairly pleased with those temperatures bearing in mind just how warm its been today ;)

Idle/Load - cpu 38/45c , pmwic 41/48c, chipset 47/55c, gpu 44/63c.

Arctic freezer 64 on the cpu and a ati silencer 5 on the gpu, 4 x 80mm case fans and a 120mm fan blowing over ram area.

This room is roasting after midday, as sun hits directly, thank god for these a64`s, last year athlonxp even slightly overclocked was sending the nf7 temperature siren into overdrive !

Normally 100% load (20C ambient)
CPU:37C
Mobo: 45C

Last few days 100% load (ambient 35C, damn loft)
CPU: 40C
Mobo: 56C (up to 65C when playing Oblivion)

But I refuse to set the fans any higher and the system is still stable so I just leave it at that.

I've disabled one core on my X2 3800+, have it at stock speeds and the temps are still really high.

idle/load
CPU - 48c / 62c
System temp - 46c / 51c
Hard Drive - 48c / 54c

Quite worrying as the maximum temp for the hard drive is 46c and it's higher than that when idle.

Bear in mind a lot of temp sensors, especially those on AMD64 chips are not that accurate. However, I am pretty sure that mine is. My CPU was at 49 degrees whilst sufring the web last night. Tonight I am lapping the HSF.
