Temu

Temu is economic warfare from China and the worst form of en-****-ification. We should all send the market a signal and avoid.

All this 'cut out the middle man' and buy cheap direct from China, cheapness over quality, safety and local economy etc.

You're all okay with that?

Depends dunnit. I will always support our locals before China, and a lot of the stuff I buy I wouldn't take a chance on with China anyway (biking gear, country stuff, etc) but for tat? All day long.

Also also also, I tried Trainpal for the first time yesterday, it seems they've literally just nicked Temu's business model with all the dumbass game and spins and other guff. Just **** off with this nonsense.

To be fair the Chinese are slightly smaller people compared to the UK

I keep seeing stuff about Trainpal and have always wondered whether it does actually offer what it says. I've never used it though.

I got £9 off a railcard through them using a code from. MSE. I then bought two tickets using said railcard and Trainpal's split tickets thingy so ended up paying £70 for tickets that would've otherwise cost me £114, and have a railcard to use for a year.

Can't complain tbh, apart from the stupid marketing for toddlers.

This is Temu nonsense.

I have ordered 3 items and had confirmation, I then get this email about an hour ago saying my payment will be returned as credit.
What makes me think the item is out of stock is lower down it shows me the product but it's actually another offer and nothing to do with returning a payment.
