Tennis

20 years old, 2 titles already, nothing really ahead of him, only Sinner around his age, so only behind to look to for rivals. This kid could be in double figures by the time he’s 25.

If all goes well for him. Bear in mind Hingis has 4or 5 slams as a teenager then retired at 22.

Biggest think for him will be to stay healthy.

Crikey, what do you need to have for a classic?!

Did you see the 2019 final? Fed really should have won but that match was a true classic.

Both players in this one made a lot of unforced errors in the first two sets. Still some nice points though. The first two sets of the semi final at Rolland Garros were a bit better.

Yeah, although sports science is so good these days it's pretty rare for top tennis players to retire especially early. The only one I can think of who didn't achieve all he should have done was del Potro, and I think that was a pretty unusual wrist injury.

My only fear is that nobody else hits his level and he absolutely bosses it for a decade, it could become quite dull!

Absolutely delighted with that result. Didn’t think it would happen, so glad it did.

Hopefully that starts the changing of the guard. He’s got a massive chance to dominate tennis now with the way the game is going.

If he can defend his US open title he has the same amount as Andy, that’s mad.

To be fair to Andy, to end up with three titles in the era he’s played is ridiculous but Carlos has been talked about as potentially the greatest talent ever so it’s not surprising he’s already got two.

I couldn't ever get bored of watching him!! Lol!

Carlos is terrifying. It feels like when Federer came through - talent at the level that nobody has ever really seen before. He'll take the sport up another level as long as he has other players who can stay with him
