Jack Played really well, interesting what will Murray mound get called if he does get a run at Wimbledon - as nothing rhymes!

But Jack has done well here, but when your dad was once head of the LTA, i guess he would have opened doors that only others can dream of!
(not being nasty here, as any British success helps tennis in general in the UK. just pointing out the reality)
It's always going to be Henmans Hill for me.

Murray Mound just never sounded quite right for me even though it was Murray who went further and won it twice in comparison to Henman!

If anything it means more pressure on him!

I guess it depends on what you grew up calling it. However, with Murray winning it twice he gets the nod and should probably be unofficially renamed in his honour.

Does seem to be making her way through them at quite a rate! Are there any top players that operate without a coach, and just rely on themselves/video to analyse and improve?

I got the dreaded e-mail about ballot process being complete. The daily grind of checking to see if tickets are available begins.....
Anyone get lucky in the draw?

Got two sets of tickets this year (note one pair for myself, one pair for my 17 year old) One set direct from Wimbledon, and one set Via the LTA (for being a player plus membership, or what ever its called advantage plus?) Both on court 1 thou - thou fri / sat first week

- only ever got lucky and got 2 x pairs of tickets for centre court, but that was covid year!

Got lucky this morning at 10:30 they started adding tickets, got two for ladies final :)
If you are in the hunt check between 10am-1pm.

Im an advantage plus member on lta, costs £20 a year! How do you get tickets from there? When i login i can see every other event but not wimbledon.

This is honestly better than winning (unless you get really lucky). Last year I got women's final tickets from the resale, probably could've gotten mens final/semi if I was more patient. It does take a while though...

Novax threw away a chance at his 100th title there.

Lol threw away? Were you watching the match? Mensik played fantastically well. Hit 14 aces and 29 winners on 22 unforced errors. Djokovic didn't play badly himself, but did look like the heat/humidity got to him. Wasn't as bad as that match against Alcaraz in Cincinnati were he looked like he was dying of heatstroke.
