TERA release date announced.

I still haven't played this thanks to Frogster..

I haven't been able to download the EU cilent since it went up, yet I can download the US 1 if I want
 
US release is 3 days earlier, also there were quite a lot of issues yesterday with the headstart in the US. I certainly lost the chance to do any gaming yesterday, but nevermind!
 
I think all servers were down/continuing to go down for around 5-6 hours after they had planned to have finished maintenance.
Lot's of people weren't happy, but I'd prefer to have a more stable game in the long run than a day of 'headstart'
 
Considering getting this, or at least trying it out! Was disappointed with GW2 to be honest, considering the immense messianic hype, and think perhaps a more modest and typical no-frills Korean MMO will provide a... simpler... type of fun. I also love PK'ing and all of those sort of mechanics. Any feedback? Where are you EU guys buying US codes from?

Quite good US experience so far although I haven't played a lot the last few days. No lags whatsoever though I wouldn't mind knowing the actual latency I get from the servers, anyone know the commands for it?

One of the reason I went US was the constant non English spams on EU servers so I rather play with the yanks than go through with that and I've read that En Masse is infinitely better than frogster though I haven't run into problems yet to actual experience their support myself.
Still waiting for an invite for the Unit guild myself I guess one of the guys was too busy replying, what's Sawells ingame name?
 
remy, have you sent a request in game to the guild via the guilds on server function? Someone is usually on to accept them :)
 
Is the server Basilisk Crag for the Guild? US servers, that is.

Hmm PVP server xD I usually play PVE 'cos I hate getting ganked whilst levelling hahaha!

Oh and MIRAGE? I'm not sure how to send a PM so I'll ask here -- What voltage etc do you use for your x4 965 at 4ghz? I have the same CPU and run at [email protected](bios). I would like to try get to 4ghz xD Do you have the Black Edition c3? I've never tried messing with the NB/ram speed either, because I'm not sure which setting is which in my bios lol.

I'll double check when I get home fella, think it's 1.475 which is quite high but below the key 1.5v. I use 250x16. It is a BE C3 too :). I get around 43-48 degrees at the moment, highest was usually around 56 last summer!

Also Basilisk Crag is a US PVP server, I've never really tried PVP before but I don't think it's quite a free for all type PVP, but could be wrong!

Yeah the X4 seems to run high for me, even with a (crappy £60) watercooler.
I was always afraid to go above 1.4v. I wonder if it would make much of a difference in frame rates if I push it to 4ghz and mess with the NB... hmmm. I see you've changed the FSB, whereas I normally just multiplier overclock - I'm never sure how to properly optimise the RAM speed/timings.
 
I think my RAM speed/timings are quite slack, certainly not increased over the stock settings. Getting from 3.9 to 4.0 was a huge jump, I think I could get 3.9 at almost stock settings across the board. I just had this 'thing' about hitting 4GHz. The day to day benefit is probably 1fps in the majority of games!
 
Finnaly got the cilent downloading, but wondering is there a grace period in EU?, because Rainforest still haven't posted my CE and servers go live tomorrow

Servers go live Thursday at 12CEST not tomo and no grace period.

I pre ordered 2 from shopto, both got sent out yesterday but only received one today so I've had to buy a digital CE to make sure I don't miss it.

Hey guys, we've closed open door recruitment for the Unit on Tera as the guild has had a hugely sucsessful recruitment campaign on the server and we want to focus on the members we have. We're still recruiting, but for normal players they need to be level 30+/age 18+ only.

That said, I'm still happy to take on and help those of you migrating to US or starting the game from fresh who are from here. But you'll need to let me know you're from OcUK or you'll get rejected for not being level 30+!

I'm in Birmingham on business at the moment so am not around ingame, but the officer team is great and you can normally get hold of one of the following: Sweetness, Turtledog, Yamuda, Robert, Bawbagius, Kravlol or Mancold if you need an immediate invite, or apply ingame and put OcUk on the little bit of text you get to write in.
