Terrible Jaguar re-brand

Thats his opinion only... Its not a fact.

You seem to suddenly be an expert on this. Remind me what part of the industry/engineering you work in.

Well there are all the 28 crashes which occurred...

You don't need to work in the industry to see they ****** up big time. You can't do this in ANY industry. This is like wiring up a server rack dangerously and going that'll be fine.

And who are 'they'?

JLR, obviously. Plus probably that VinFast company.
The safety issue is absolutely nothing to do with JLR. 'Probably' are the cars that actually have the issue.

Nasher's JLR hate is obvious, any chance he gets he cant see the wood for the trees.

Many OEMs have consultancy arms to support other OEMs, tata consultancy likely has more to do with other OEMs than JLR itself (which is inhouse most likely). Vinfast are based in MIRA, this guy spouted confidential stuff all over the internet which is a opinion only yet everyone's jumping up to defend him. Which i dont know how you can really have an view here without knowing all the details. (and avoid the clickbait title)

I guess this is irrelevant too? Should this guy go to a tribunal too?

I’m not one to defend Nasher but he is not wrong. Whistleblowers are protected by UK law.

This could well be covered by U.K. whistleblowing laws. The basic guidance is below, there will clearly be a lot more detail and case law which underpins it though and ultimately it would be up to a judge to determine that.

The alleged black listing is really problematic though as it’s not reasonable even if they had grounds to terminate his contract.

Helping to try and cover it up is though.

It seems like the cars just aren't built properly either though. These kinds of faults shouldn't happen especially on newish cars.

I dont get what all the mud slinging at JLR is all about. Man works for Tata and tested some vehicles for the company (VF6, VF7, VF8) which arent JLR vehicles and found to be faulty. He reports it and looks like the management sweep it under the carpet and subsequently gets fired.

He then gets a job at JLR and sees reports of the faulty cars he worked on before, then posts about it on Redit after getting nowhere with the management. The management at Tata get him fired from JLR as they are the owners of JLR and its JLRs fault why?

He should have used anonymity of wiki-leaks like snowdon - in retrospect there weren't any leaks from tesla on the driving 'aids' related crashes.

The role of tata consultency in jaguar ev development&strategy perhaps should be evaluated based on their associated actions/role in vinfast

Yes, that worked very well for Snowdon didn't it

Just read that article properly, not a good look at all. I'm guessing it's going to be swept under the rug and we won't hear any more about it, and every company has scandals like this going on but safety is a pretty serious subject. Hopefully they get a thorough kicking for it, but I doubt it.

It sounds very much like they were in bed with VinFast and knew about the issues. So they are involved in this.

Stuff always gets swept under the carpet in the corporate world, but people have died as a direct result of this and they were Americans. So it isn't going away.

Tata and Vinfast certainly but it has absolutely nothing to do with JLR other than that’s the last place where the whistleblower worked and Tata got him fired. I don’t understand where the flap about JLR comes from

Clickbait because people are more familiar with JLR than Tata.

Edit: Also, Jaguar have been in the press a lot recently so easy target.
