Sods law that so much falls in one month, anyone else had similar?

Inspection 2 - £215
MOT - £40 + £60 for repairs
Tax - £240 odd
2 front tyres - £305 (ultrac sessantas have gone up in price? scene tax?)
front and rear brake pads (~£150)
another injector has gone (looking at around £350 to sort)

Ok so nothing major in itself, but still, tax/mot/insp2 at same time! nightmare :/

I had a turbo manifold stud snap this month, which doesnt sound too bad right? (Previous owner Fail)

However this required the cylinder head to be taken off as the turbo is to big to remove in situ  oh well thats one thing i wont have to get done again.

And new front tyres £144 for the pair

I dont even want to think about my turbo, 132k miles now, im looking at any more miles as a bonus lol

These BMWs are great. I MUST POSSESS ONE NOW!

For the money you've wasted fixing your car you could have bought a Fiesta like mine. Kicking yourself now aren't you?

what size are your fronts? :s i just paid £225 delivered for 2x 255/35/18 sessantas for my rears

same as yours i would expect, 225/40/18's.
admittedly i didnt look too much as camskill are normally a good price and i NEEDED tyres delivered ASAP.
£225 is about what i paid for my rears about 6 months ago!

My insurance, tax and MOT all arrive at the same time :(. I pay insurance in a lump sum as well.

Last year i had to get the front pads and discs done which was £100 and 2 front tyres which also came to £100 (even though i asked for their cheapest ones ). But it passed the MOT without any advisories \o/.

Hopefully my insurance renewal will be a lot less this year so that will make it a bit cheaper.

nothing really out of the ordinary tbh. not my fault you have a cheap ass car :p

I spent £60 ish on petrol this month and covered around 800 miles.

Think the most i have spent out in owning the car was when the clutch went which was 250ish to get it replaced

Total car expenditure over the last 3 months:

~-£1200

Yep, in profit! Obviously this is ignoring that my insurance/tax/mot/tyres etc have all worn or run a bit, and my car has depreciated further.

But bless it my car's being reliable at the moment! I knew replacing absolutely everything on the whole bloody thing would pay off some day :D

I lost a green service light a few days ago, down to just four now so... another 10,000 miles maybe? :D

Mines averaging nearly 17,000 between services with my driving which is fantastic, its just a shame that this next one is going to be well into 4 figures which offsets the saving of the long interval somewhat :(

what the hell?

from email confirmation:

2 of 2554018YVREDR99XL.SESSANTA[2] VREDESTEIN TYRES / CAR / VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA - 255/40R18 99Y XL TL Total Price £308.00

99Y instead of 92Y? Whats the difference?
I'll be on the phone first thing in the morning!
