I'm no historian, and I have limited knowledge of issues in the middle east, but at face value I think our involvement in middle east affairs at this moment in time (Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel etc.) is out of order. That's a whole new can of worms, though

no, i live in a area where Muslims want to be apart of British, not rundown crime ridden counsel estates full of Muslims.

So you are asking us to ask them, then you sarcastically respond to when I ask you if you have asked them? I'm not sure how you can assertain what the community in your area believes without engaging in dialogue with them. I live in an area where there are no other foreigners, I don't have a clue what they think simply by living next to them.

But british people who might have an issue with you as a muslim as a result of attacks on our country are just foolish and ignorant. They don't deserve excuses. Strange how you can spend so much time finding reasons and excuses for muslim bombers but not for those who would distrust muslims as a result of attacks here. Actually it was the fastest ive ever gotten through heathrow...traffic was fine as well..

We landed at about 4:30pm this afternoon...looked out the window, saw lots of blokes in shorts, boots and orange jackets sitting around doing nothing...but i see that every time i fly into the UK

Nothing out of the ordinary cept a few extra bags sitting on trollys in the claim area.

theres more user to user flaming going on in this thread than i can believe... telling people to go back to school, telling people to grow up... very interesting that a national threat can bring out such heated discussions on peoples opinions which are sometimes put forward in a slightly too hot headed manner!

i was, for saying it was a bummer i couldnt use my iPod on my flight back to the UK, i then got accused of wanting my ipod more than life itself, but there are some ppl out there who will just take any oppertunity to flame so its fine
