Terror Plot Foiled

I've quoted this post from another forum - I think it shows just how preposterous the media can be.

Shamefully, there is some evidence to suggest those cut-aways are of Brit origin. Gawd 'elp us.:

The Lair of bin Laden
I particularly like the boxes that say:

caves cut deep inside the mountain to avoid the possibility of detection by thermal sensing equipment

... and

The comples of caves is carved into a 13,000ft mountain and can accommodate up tp 1,000 people

... and

System of ventillation ducts brings air into the caves and provides alternative exits.

Ah yes, it has all been thought of ... apart from the small matter of a covert way of exhausting the combined body heat and bum gas of 1,000 sweaty Kofta-nakhod-chomping Taliban with horses in tow ...

Well, turns out one of the Birmingham suspects lives on the same road as me, which is nice.

Trust nobody not even Muslim.

It would scare my senseless if there was a suicide bomber living in my street.

No Surrender, No Surrender, No Surrender to the terrorists.

One lives in my town. A convert/traitor. How nice.
Or an innocent man (until proven guilty) like almost everyone else arrested on suspicion of being a terrorist in recent years?

Did I say he was guilty?

Although here are a collusive group though, apparently all the 'moderate' organisations that are such a value to our society are desperate to support the legitimacy of terrorism by saying that it is OUR fault for having policy they disagree with.

I thought that they were being summarily executed? Wait - my mistake.

You did label as a traitor, which implies guilt.

Morning everyone.

A traitor is one who betrays one's country. It is not decided by jury.
That would make the term an entirely subjective one, in that you could be a traitor without having committed a crime.

Although, to drag our US cousins into the discussion, it seems to be the case that if you are not 100% gungho for your country over there, you are considered a traitor. Or, at the veryt least, a non-patriot.

[Edit]

The Treason Acts of 1351 and 1702 might also state that it is a crime.

To be honest, it's not worried me in the slightest. The area is still the same as it was 3 days ago, just one house here has been home or hangout for a suspect that may have plotted something terrible.

But it is by one definition: A traitor is someone convicted of breaking certain laws.

To define it as betrayal is too vague to be of use except as an insult to denigrate one's opponent.

From the information given how can you deduce that he is a traitor, considering he hasn't been charged with anything yet?

Courtesy of m-w.com

1 : one who betrays another's trust or is false to an obligation or duty
2 : one who commits treason

Hence he needs not be convicted for me to describe him as a traitor
