Apologies for dropping off the radar, I have been ill for the last week - so no traveling up north.

Yes you're absolutely right, the first thing I'd have thought of doing in this difficult situation would be to call the Metro and Daily Mail in to make my family look ridiculous (What other outcome was expected, I guess the money was worth it though).
