Ahh cheers mate! Anyone have any idea what the driving aid toggles 'Sport' and 'Hypersport' refer to? Certainly harder to control my beast with the aids switched off :)
 
Superb demo! I really enjoyed this. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and this is 100x better than the first. Can't wait for the game now :D
 
Really enjoyed the demo. Played a full hour using the ferrari at first then had to have a go on the motorbike. No tearing, looks great on my samsung 32"hdtv via component and love the way you randomly come across other peeps who are cruising.(or should i say crashing into other peeps!..) around the island. Will be buying as i liked the first demo anyway and its good to see that atari attempted to improve it performance wise etc to smooth it out which it seems they have since the first demo.:)

only 40 mins till i finish work, then an hours drive home, then a 3 hour download, so should see you online at.... hoo humm 5+3.. 8pm lol i hope :D
 
For me thinking about it again its just the "virtual world" you cruise around in and come across random xboxlive peeps..(names of course appear above there car/motorbike..) that makes it for me and i can see the full game with the "whole!" island grabbing my attention for a very long time as u can challenge someone to a race i think..(or someone did me..) by stopping side to side with them at anytime, anywhere on the island. Great stuff. :)

Just press A to flash your headlights at them to challenge them mate :D

When I open the map up a select an area when loads of people are, the computer moves me there buts there no one about?

And when just cruising around people only appear at certain times and not straight away.
 
Is the demo offline the same as the old one? Mine couldn't connect to the servers and it was pretty much the same (even the 15min time limit!)

(no i wasn't playing the old demo :D )

It's online and theres a lot of players about. Played it solidly for 3hrs before deciding to take a break :) The 1hr limit gives you more then enough time to mess around.
 
The demo is good but does anyone not think the sound is a bit poor. The 430 sounds nearly identical to the gallardo from the previous demo and theirs just something weird about the noises when you goto the lambo garage and rev the cars.
