I'm questioning my pre-order now.

With TDU, Saints Row and Dead Rising on pre-order for the next 2 weeks, am I going to justify enough of my time now to pay £40 for TDU over £20 for Dead Rising?
Drop SR :) It's the weakest out of DR, and TDU. I dropped SR for Just Cause :/
Tbh SR's demo wasn't too impressive in comparison to San Andreas, although the latter has had many generations of development (gta3, vice city).

hmmmm, can't make my mind up about this game now.

Sure it's great fun racing people but I can't see what else this game has to offer. I can just see it getting a tad on the boring side.

Getting your collection of cars & bikes up, getting all the achievements, remember the Island is much more massive then the demo we are talking about 1000 miles of road.

Challenges to do to win money, buying 64 houses, let me just tell you magazine reviewer who on Atari forum played 75 hours and was only 18% complete. :)

Hitchhiker missions, and taking rich businessman cars to places if you crash the money goes down you get at end. :D

I seriously consider reading latest previews and get this magazine that has a review. http://www.360magazine.co.uk/x360/flashindex.html

Finally managed to downlod the new TDU demo, havent had much time in the past 2 weeks for my 360 and have to say im still impressed by it.
Love riding the Ninja bike, thats a barrel of laughs tbh...pulling wheelies at over 150mph:eek::p....not too impressed with the cars they gave us this time around.
But driving off road is mucho fun whether its on bike or in the car..had a few guys follow me as we went moto crossing on our bikes:p.

Managed to also find where you first start in the first demo, which was kinda cool but couldnt go in.

Cant wait for this game tbh, along with a few other pre-orders that i have waiting for me.

Didnt like this at all, I can see where it would be good but the driving experience is just so poor it would annoy me. A non purchase for me.

I may get this im still undecided. I may wait till ive finished Dead Rising then trade that in or i may get this and get Dead Rising at a later date.

Part of me wants to like this game because of the potential it has and sheer amount of things to do, but a larger part of me is put off because it's looks poor in places and the cars feel terrible to drive. Then of course there's the problem you get in PGR3 which is people ramming you out the way to over take. It's a real shame because this game could have been so much better.

I wan't impressed with Dead Rising or Saints Row either to be honest so I might not buy any game next month. :(

I'm going to have to rent this first, the demo didn't convince me. I'm hoping I get on better with the full game because I had been looking foward to this.

exactely, it had the potential to be great, but the handling let it down, and the lack of race tracks means that imo normal roads get boring

i thought the GFX in this demo were worse also

Reading through a few comments, I think people need to appreciate that this is still a MMOG, so as such their are bound to be a few things that are sacrificed over an out an out racing game like PGR or Forza. This is more a driving game with races thrown in.

Hehe that was a female friend of mine playing prolly. I was watching from behind trying to get her used to the controls without much success lol. It's great to bump into ocuk'ers. Saw quite a few on release day too hanging around the lambo garage.

Nice race earlier Zico :p Was too busy trying to get some video footage off it, that I ended up colliding with a pesky oncoming vehicle lol

Not the best of vids given that I had to scramble for a camera at the last moment. You can see Zico fly past in his motorbike thingy :)

We really had the worst combination of vehicles for that race. The Mustang is just sooooooo slow at acceleration and the Ninja is the complete opposite.

I was being lazy and didn't have the mic in at the time otherwise I would have told you I was giving you a head start. I also set out the end of the track upto the lighthouse so there was a least part of the course which would work against me on the bike (twists and bumps galore up there).

Next time I will make sure to even it out and change to match whatever car you choose :).

**Edit**
Forgot to mention nice projector setup there and the music matched :) shame about the driving at the start though :D.

It's 20.1" Belinea widescreen tft that was used there :) The music was coming from my dual screen pc setup on the right. Was watching The Hits channel on freeview at the time lol. It was a bad combo yeah but it's a great rush when you win in a mustang vs a faster vehicle :)

While most will be going for the supercars in this game, I'll be hopefully collecting as many muscle cars as I can. That is if Atari get the sounds right for the cars. So far I end up looking behind me everytime I hear a civilian car approach me since they all use the same sounds as the ingame supercars atm lol
