We're making the final arrangements now. Provided nothing serious comes up, we are looking at a early afternoon launch (PST).

If I had to guess, I would say around 2PM PST.

Just as well i guess. Gonna have to leave my PC on all night to be able to play tomorrow. Got a 2mb line but downloads have been screwy recently for some reason.

Typical when i want to download a 3.5gb file.

Available to anyone. Free users get a 100KB/sec cap though whereas members get full speeds.

Yup. A few people got lucky who were on the ball but now they've put some cookie authentication in.

Just gotta wait for TDU Beta to appear on the main banner on the FP front page apparently now. When it's "proper" live.

No idea how long that will be though.

I was one of the lucky ones downloading it before it went live. Not sure whether to subscribe just for one month though or wait to see if they have made an error.

Regarding the "Subscriber Exclusive".

Well, guys I was actually surprised to see that as well. So I made a phone call and apparently, this is the deal:

For 2 days it is subscriber exclusive. On Friday evening it opens up to everyone.

I'm sorry if I confused anyone and led them to believe it would be immediately non-subscriber exclusive. To be honest, this wasn't made clear to me at all.

I hope this clears things up a bit.
