Sometimes it makes me wonder if they are owned by EA :D Very sad indeed :(
 
i had no problems, clicked on the banner this morning, entered a few details and started my download @ 240kbs
the things thats gonna annoy you is this PC im on probably cant run it as im waiting for my gaming rig to be fixed
dont bother asking for my key that aint gonna happen :p

i dont know why some are having probs, everyone who i know is downloading fine, so id just keep trying, gluck
 
Because your a paying subscriber to fileplanet. People are hacked off cause it was ment to be free for all but fileplanet made it for only paying customers & the free people have to wait an extra 2 days.

Oh well i got the client when they made the screw up just gotta wait for the key on friday.
 
yes but paid subs always get a head start on the freeloaders :D and rightly so
its always been the case, not that another day makes any real significance tbh
 
If you look at how many people downloaded the last one it was only 19000. So don't threat Im sure you'll get on it. For the keys becuase I already had one from last time its the same key I had then.
 
that was the closed beta last time, this is the open beta which will have more places available , those who missed out last time should get in
its a great game, and not far off launch/release and for those who maybe dont get the chance it is worth buying
 
I started downloading this last night, got 2Gb into the download and the download has now stopped. I'm using the Fileplanet downloader thingy..
 
You're telling me there's a torrent we can download rather than use FilePlanet's download manager?

Last time i used that it constantly got disconnected and went from 5kb/s to 200kb/s every 5 seconds.

I dunno sometimes when I download via IE it goes to bitcomet and downloads via that. I prefer it at the moment cos firefox keeps corrupting things lately. Even when a picture on a site loads it goes all garbled. Now the DLM is going snail pace.
 
Not a bad game at all. Though on 'High' detail with 4xAA (4000+, 3GB RAM, 8800GTS) I get random half second pauses while driving at high speeds which can cause me to spin out. Also even on high quality (you cant choose any options, just Low/Med/High) parts of the game look average.

Driving is pretty good, though I would like to try it with my wheel.
 
Anyone want to lend their fileplanet details so i can have the client downloaded for when the open open beta keys are available on friday/saturday? (Bit cheeky i know :D)
