Testing testing, one two three

Not in this case it isn't though surely as if it was signatures then it would show in dev tools with the link as the page is loaded surely?

I mean in this instance I'm not even logged in, cache was cleared to test and I have tested in private window just in case.

I found something that it may be related...

Weird. CORS policy between HTTPS and HTTP ?

I'm not sure what CORS is it's the only error I get on dev tools. Just checked wireshark and it still looks like it's been transported via TLS1.2 which is fine, not in plain text.

In Wireshark I captured 4x frames during the password transportation over TLS1.2 handshake and all is well...

I had to double check to make sure!

However, this issue is present in Firefox latest version as well. Direct access represents not secure, but log in represents secure. Interesting..

I haven't read the thread so apologies if this has been mentioned but when I open the forum using the following bookmarked link:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/forums/community/general-discussion.12/

It takes me to the main page which shows all the forums and ignores the fact I was logged in. This is on Edge (work), and Google (home). I suspect it's user error but thought I'd add it anyway.

CORS is cross origin resource sharing - basically if website A says "Get this image here from website B" - that's CORS. It's considered potentially insecure as it could lead to malicious materials hosted on a server outside the host's control. But this is usually like, if you hotlink a webshop image from your own webpage at www.boutonaide.com. Rather than just changing protocol from HTTP to HTTPS.

I know what it is now after reading about it. Seems like something wasn't happy somewhere. :)

I couldn't see any content been loaded over http though initially.

Innovation innit. That upgrade will be £5k pls and it must be done out of hours. Will take 16 hours for four developers.
