lol that is a bunch of us at i29 playing the brilliantly constructed game of hammer time! Its CTF (well CTH) the idea is to capture the other teams hammer (flag) without being hammered along the way, if you get hammered you have to go back to spawn :P Just a bit of alcohol fueled fun at lan.
 
Very nicely edited vid. Frag vids tend not to impress me much, as said before, anyone can record their game play for months and pick out 5-10mins of "lucky" kills. The only frag vids to impress me are from say one tournament.. gives a better impression of someone's skill. :)

wrong,Tribes 2 was the definative online team game ... oh and thats a fact not opinion ;p
 
editing is elite, pity the footage isn't interesting, you'd have had a field day making avis for tfc back in the day. demoman is overpowered in tf2, the slow restrictive movement, its not hard to hit people walking in straight lines ;) such repetitive gameplay, try fortress forever!

LOL honestly have you actually played TF2 at all ever? i check the times you said, and the only time that could be considered spawn camping is the 1.26 - 1.31, but what choice does he have? just leave them?!!!? its in an official 6v6 Division 1 European League and hes gonna let them live cos they are near a spawn door.

I think your're watching this video from a pubbers prospective :rolleyes: or just comparing it to TFC a completely different game.

Well no, im guessing its now accepted in leagued matches to pot shot and spawn camp.

Just not used to such underhand methods.

Offenece never attack each other, no pot shotting, spawn spamming and camping etc etc

As for being a pubber, well i was MDK in TFC Div 3-1 team and played the game for 4 years, so i know a little bit about league matches.

TFC is a different game though, so you can't really compare them. Anyway we'll leave it as just a difference in opinions :)
 
Yes Bones it is a totally different game, and that is why there is so many comparisons with its predecessor. gaming has changed, gone are the highly skilled fast paced deathmatch games, in come the simplified easier to pick up and play games that appeal to more people (casual gamers) to satisfy their corporate business plan and profitise. thats why gamers of the past find it so hard to appreciate games of the present.

true mirage, but the game is getting better. i installed it when it was first released and quickly uninstalled it. i got heckled into trying 2.1 which was released about 4 months ago and its pretty good now.

while the following video is pretty poor, there is hardly a large amount of videos available displaying the movement and mechanics. plus if youve never played tfc u will probably not appreciate the gameplay regardless but anyway

Wrong & Wrong :p

The only REAL online team game was the lovely Q2 CTF *FACT* :D

Point is, everybody that played one will find that their prefered. Tribes2, TFC(Never played this tho), Q1 CTF, Q2 CTF were all awesome games.
 
The video itself is simply stunning, some serious Adobe skills there! :D
The game was fun to watch, thanks!.
Some of it reminded me of the R3 Enemy Territory video. ;)
