First proper Kerb squeeze today from some asshat in a 120D sport.

So for the ten second delay I would have caused the car driver, I got..
Double pinch flats (front and rear) had to call in a favour for a lift to work, and I lost my lunch break so I could fix it..

Uhhh, BMW drivers cause so much hastle to cyclists on the road speaking from experiance, almost as bad as Taxis.

That is an amazing quality camera you have there, gotta get myself one of those I think.
 
I have lost the ability to post in motors for some unknown reason (Mods?) but if you have the reg, why not contact the persons insurance company?
 
Did they clip you as well? Sounds like it on the video.

Sorry to hear that mate, must have scared the **** out of you when it happened.

Chances are you'll see them again though...

That's a good idea having a camera rolling though, I'm guessing it's mounted to your helmet?
 
What an utter dipstick that driver is, get on to his insurance company and drop in to your local cop shop and show them that. They love getting their hands on a dangerous driver, especially one that puts others lives at risk when they're to stupid to realise that picking up little quinten 30 seconds late isn't the end of the known world. Idiot.
 
Don't know if its the beer, but what happened? I just seen 1 series bmw go past you and you almost lose your balance, followed by the masturbation word multiple times.

Did he/she hit you or throw something at you?
 
That raged me just watching it. Give him a kick if you see him again. As others mentioned can you get actually get his details and claim off his insurance for that sort of thing?

Here's a little tip though - I would highly advise against swearing at such people. Whilst you may think it's justified, I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen videos such as this where the driver decides to take offence.
If they're moronic enough to put your life in danger, they could well be moronic enough to assault you.
 
I would relish the opportunity of them getting out to be honest.
I am probably one of the most placid people around, but when you press the right buttons, stand back. :D
 
Can you please tell us what happened as i really cannot tell from the video after watching it about 10 times. Looks like you nearly took half of the lane up to be fair, though he/she should have still waited for more room to pass.

Why 2 flats?
 
I cycle to work and am plagued with morons like this on a daily basis, not to mention those idiots that feel the need to block cycle lanes when stopped at traffic lights.

Definitely pass the footage on though, great idea having a helmet cam.

Scary video! You make a valid point though, in a car you're protected from the elements. You're so vulnerable on a bike, it wouldn't take much for some muppet to stop, take a pop at you and drive off.

Well, I'd say that about myself as well, but I'm open to the possibility that one day I might meet someone bigger, stronger and possibly more armed than me. It's just not worth it - the driver's not going to feel bad because a cyclist swore at him, he'll laugh and drive off, just as I do practically every day when faced with the idiots who cycle around london.
