Seeing as a load of us took the plunge, lets bang our shots in here.
Sorry I don't have any to start it with, I was cheap and selected super saver as my prime had run out!

Please mention FF or Crop!

Pros

Sharp like a Katana
Light and compact for a telephoto
Image stabilized for hand-held macros (when the light allows)

Cons

Build is plasticky in feel, but still solid.
Bothering all your friends with uninteresting macro photography for the first few months of ownership

Maybe now it wasn't at the time. My order that's been dispatched says IS L. Not sub £400. £469-55 canon cashback.

I'm not convinced these are coming to be honest. No one has got one today that ordered with prime and people on hotukdeals are having them pulled. I have a tracking number for home delivery network but it shows no information.

Yeah they wont follow through with that! I'll be gutted I missed out if they do. I really want this lens too.

What's strange is the price was that low 5 days ago. Some people already have it. The price went up and then back down again. Rays was due to be delivered today. I have a dispatch email and the money is missing from my account.

from what i understand there coming from Germany so a delay is expected ,it said on my order confirmation that it would take 2 days longer than normal .if they where going to cancel i would have expected it to of happened already .and i doubt they would have sent out tracking numbers

Mine was bought using super saver and it's currently sitting at a HDNL depot ready for delivery... which is probably not a good thing but at least Amazon dispatched it
