The 100mm F2.8L IS Macro image thread

Hmm. Mine is still only showing scanned at collection depot on the City Link website (same status as 9am Fri morn). I wonder whether it actually has left the Amazon facility or if it got called back by them once they realised. Hmm. Would have expected more activity. Tis a shame if it dont come :(

As long as you ordered fast enough it'll be fine. These "mis prices" (which are just the pricing system price matching another source automatically) happen pretty frequently, every so often you get it on a more valuable item like here.

I got my 16-35 in a similar situation, for some reason another retailer set it to 960, and it price matched auto for a few hours then went to £1200.

Yeah that's what I think will happen. The people on hotukdeals were palmed off with a 'technical difficulty'.
 
2 people have reported on the website that there's got cancelled due to pricing error.

I don't know the full situations but for me if you got an order confirmation / and dispatched email then it should be on its way. No way they can cancel on the order now....

EDIT: Payment has been taken so no way of going back now!

Father-in-law had his delivered on Wednesday, as it was this price last Saturday but only for a few hours.

It's the L version, I have seen and used it on his 7D, very sharp! :)

Edit 2: 1st photo is FF (5D MkII) the others I imagine are Crop (50D). All photos would be slightly cropped in PP but not much (I don't like wasting space when composing unless it can't be avoided). Photo 2 is an image stack.

same as mine mate it ,it left my bank on fri ,but tracking not showing anything yet ,i rang them tonight and they said they think what has happened is it was handed over to the wrong company (but it should still get here ).but the tracking wont work
