Boiled eggs - can I nuke a box of them on a sunday then keep them in the fridge throughout the week to take to work? How long will they last?

I'm thinking 2 a day 5 days a week, is it wise to remove the yolk?

Why can't you just boil them the night before? Tbh I'm not sure how well eggs keep. Also no, there is no need to remove the yolk (dietary choloesterol does not influence blood cholesterol).

I could do it the night before, I just thought it would make life easier to do a week at a time.

As for the yolks, I thought there was quite a bit of fat in them?

I usually do 6-8 and have 2 every morning, they are ok as long as you keep them in the fridge.
Nice one, cheers :)

Two yokes per day isn't going to do any harm in terms of fat. It'll only be around 14g for two large eggs; 4g saturated. The benefits of what's in the yokes far outweighs that amount of fat.

5 eggs, all yolk and whites.
break 4 up and put in a jug, split the 5th one and put the white in only.

doe a couple mins of cooking/mixing, then throw the 5th yolk on and cook to finish.

What other bits can I add to my diet, it's on the right track I think:

brek - branflakes with skimmed milk, multi-seed bagel & protein shake

snack - nuts & chopped veg

lunch (eaten in 3 stages) - 2 tins of tuna with sweetcorn & low fat yoghurt

snack - nuts & chopped veg

gym + protein shake

tea - lean chicken/turkey with veg & boiled new potatoes + low fat yoghurt

snack - nuts

Why d'ya do it that way Morba? I like how Dark Angel is asking how to cook 3 eggs, and you say use 5 ;D

3 eggs dont make much :P

the last yolk going on later on gives the scrambled egg a bit more flavour. I'm thinking more about when done in a microwave mind, where its not as flavoursome as when done in a pan :)

That's 'cause when you cook it in the pan you spready some butter owa the pan first ;) Best thing to add to scrambled eggs in the microwave to add flavour is the mustard "Hot Dog sauce" you can get from Morrisons! Om nom nom...............

Big Chris - what are your goals? Quite a lot nuts in there. I like nuts, but not too much as they are heavy on the calorie side.

Put on some size without too much of the wobbly stuff (so pretty much the same as every bloke at the gym!)

I'm currently 6'4 and 92kg

I have a handful of nuts at a time so not loads, and I don't always snack after dinner depending on how late I eat.

I can't stand cheese so cottage-cheese is out of the picture. Gonna add boiled eggs to my snack-bag too.

I guess I really need to work out how many calories I'm getting from my daily intake, then go from there.

Yup, if you create a spreadsheet and list all your macros you'll soon see if something needs tweaking.

Lads won't bore you with an essay. Been hitting the gym for about 8 months now, only recently started to take it seriously in terms of attendance and diet and starting to see significant gains both in terms of strength and physical appearance.

Just a quick question. Right now regime is:
Mon: Chest & Abs
Tues: Back & Biceps
Weds: Cardio (HIIT/Rowing) or Rest
Thurs/Fri: Shoulders/Legs/Triceps/Abs.
(I mix things up all the time, I never do the same body part regime e.g. chest I'll do barbell bench one week and dumbells the other)

I often find on a Tues I don't have enough energy to do back and bis. For the same reason I don't do triceps with chest. Should I be doing back stuff first and then finish off with biceps or vice versa.
Last question: Can I throw some more abs sessions in there or is 2 a week plenty, usually train them to the point where it's noticeably painful for the next day or so. There's not much there at the moment as I've been eating ridiculous amounts of food but probably looking to start some sort of cutting regime in about 2 months so want to get the groundwork in.

Cheers
