Asked when i left and they didnt know anything else. He didnt look too healthy when they wheeled him out. The guys he was with said he has lots of allergies and could be something he had eaten.. Alive though which i suppose is the main thing :/

My knee was in absolute agony last week when squatting, did one set and then left it and then did light exercises after that for the rest of the session. Seemed to pay off this week though as it was fine :)

Not the end of the world as people put it.
Problem is that low in fat means low in taste, so manufacturers compensate by throwing more sugar in. In addition, the more processed the food, the less nutritional value it has and can be considered crap on your diet.

Try to go for the full fat ones, bit tastier, nothing wrong with 10 grams of extra fat a day and a bit healthier as well.
How about stuff like Muller Rice pots?

I eat quite a lot of carbs, around 400g on a training day and 350g on a non-training day. Thing is I'm a hard gainer so even taking in 3200-3500 cals a day I maintain quite a low body fat.

You should change your morning tea to be more of a meal, I don't see much protein there. Have a shake at breakfast if you haven't got the stomach for lots of eggs, it's what I do as I have no appetite when I wake up for an hour or so.

I'm not keen on too much tuna, I used to eat 2 tins a day but stopped because of the mercury that can build up in your body.

I have a shake at breakfast at the moment, I'm going to start taking some boiled eggs to work but if I have them for brek too that'll be 5/6 eggs a day which seems a bit much (not to mention there'll be no room in my fridge for anything except eggs!)

To those that make their own shakes with oats etc, do you just use plain whey powder and powdered oats? Should I be looking at any particular oats or just a sack of the stuff from Tesco?

I buy the cheap oats from tesco and blend them down so they are nice and fine to put in a shake, I use banana flavored whey or you could use plain, choc is nice.

Don't worry about eggs I'm on 4 a day at the moment, dam sounds like an addiction lol.

I use the ultra fine oats from MyProtein, they're superb. 2 scoops impact whey, 2 scoops oats and 500ml semi-skimmed milk looks like this:

Protein: 70g
Carbs: 76g
Fat: 14.1g
Calories: 717

Seems to be fine today, will squat ligther tonight and if still in pain will then give it a break.

Damn annoying was starting to see some real progression.

I'd leave it a few days personally. If you keep picking at a scab it will never heal. Time off will do you good.

I used BSD's fine powdered oats. Any will do really, they don't need to be powdered my old TP liked to chew his!

I'd recommend their TrueWhey though I think the Impact Blend is the best value for money.

MP90145 for 5% off your first order at MyProtein

I've tried using that foodfocus calorie logger but it appears to be so inaccurate with calories and servings and wont let me alter the portion size. Guess it'll have to be the old fashioned way.
