Although I don't understand why some women don't like a bit of a gut, with powerlifters and strongmen that gut is usually just huge abdominals.

Sorry to but in guys. Lost a fair bit of weight since November (7 stone) and am now looking at getting back in to the gym. I have either virgin or la fitness close to me and was wondering what one people would recommend. looking at getting a personal trainer for a while just to get me motivated and show me the right way to do things. Not sure what gyms are good and bad.
New PB with DB shoulder presses. Threw up the 45kg dumbbells for 6 solid reps. May not sound like much but with the doctor saying two years ago I'll never be able to lift my right arm above my shoulder again after a skiing accident, I'm pretty darn pleased with it. Eyeing the 50's next.

the reason why you can cycle for longer, is because its easier.
what if only have 1 hour in the gym? and i need to do some weights as well? would i be better off doing weights for 5 mins and do 55 mins of cycling or weights for 45 mins and 15 mins of rowing?
