Oh, one of them.............? :p

Djdom, I actually love the ab DOMs :) Obviously it makes sitting up painful at times, but it's a bearable ache compared to that of legs!

Improving quickly on squats (I should film it to check technique soon), hit 85kg x 5 today, a constant progressive of 2.5kg a week which I know doesn't sound big, but I've never squatted more than my bodyweight before/for a long time.

Oh see it's the opposite for me, I haven't had it that bad for a while but I've grown to like a good set of leg DOMS. I also find that I can roll most of it away whereas you can't really roll your abs :)

Well considoring my recent shoulder injury. Doing some light excercises for recovery.
Also today started the 'Insanity' workout DVD today, just taking it easy on the routines which use the shouder! Now i have kind of neglected cardio so thought it would be a god time to start this! Hardest thing i have ever done! Feel like i am going to be sick. The next 60 days of this will be interesting to say the least!

Did dips today, 5x5 BW+22.5kg again so was quite pleased, then as there was no dumbbells I did some BB bench.

Then went on to bugger up the first set of 70kg and for some reason it wouldnt move on the right hand side (think the plate got caught on something) =/ then went straight onto my chest lol (managed to lower it slowly on the left) thankfully had a spotter.

Failing my last rep of 3x5 @ 70kg bench felt weak though I'll tell you.

Got myself pinned under 95KG on my last set during HST. More inconvenient than painful :p

Have seen someone take 130KG to the chest before from the smith, must have been a colourful bruise!

Hmm, I always thought I struggled with my bench, that my limit for anything was around 55kg. Today I managed to do:
Flat barbell bench:
55kg x8
57.5 x8
57.5 x7 (could've possibly squeezed one more out, but no spotter and didn't want to risk it)

then did machine chest flye as the decline bench was being used. Was still being used after that so I did flat bench DB flyes. Then managed 3 sets of decline bench:
55kg 2x8
55kg 1x7

Was surprised, my chest and triceps are definitely getting a lot stronger compared to a few months ago. Wonder what I could get out 1rm on flat bench!

Right now probably around 80KG. With a strength specific routine probably nearer to 90KG I would imagine. Depends whether the reps you posted were nice controlled powerful ones or epically long and grueling to churn out :p

Going to have a go for a new 1RM bench today before my cardio :)

It was a mix of the two :p The last rep was certainly a struggle, and they were getting slower towards the end. But I try to keep it explosive when I have the power to do so!

Best thing is if you have cast iron plates on the bar for either squat, bench or OHP. Driving with so much power that when you reach the end of the rep you get a little 'chink' as the plates bounce around on the bar

This along with bending oly bars has to be one of the most satisfying things ever. I imagine.

Note of advice: Never take a fat stripper before heavy weights!

Mate showed up this morning, said 'take these, it's essentially a fat burner but apparently gives you loads of energy!'. Great, I thought! :\

Been light headed, dizzy and knackered since! What a **** session!

My girlfriend put a stop to me taking fat strippers to the gym........

......... Besides, they charge far too much now-a-days!
