you should maybe try cissus rx by usp labs, it is expensive though, but well worth it.

i have weak/damaged wrists, slightly hurt right shoulder, some sort of left tricep/tendon problem, a loose patella in my left knee and i still manage to train 3 times a week when im fully motivated.

sometimes i can go 3 weeks without training and only training 1 time a week when i cant be bothered or feeling a bit down, but i never fully give up.

i think the best thing for you would be to take up swimming, get your body used to a full body, physical exercise, after a few months of that, you would be ready to hit the gym.

my left knee is extremely bad when it comes to making cracking noises when bent and right shoulder now cracks all the time too but it seems to have healed and is no where as bad as my knee.

even with my knee problem, i managed to squat 180kg for 10 reps the other day, i have a physio appointment at the hospital at 2.30pm today for it, and im going to show her the new problem i have found, where sometimes after a bad cracking sound, i can push my patella into my knee.

i dont think i will ever be able to risk playing football again, a game which i truly love, but its not worth becoming a cripple over, i used to play up to 5 times a week. i would do anything needed to be 100% in my knee again, the MRI and x-rays showed there was nothing wrong with it, and that i was hypermobile. so i dont know what my next step would be.

Sucks man :(

Do you have any links at all to the thing you mentioned? :)

I have contemplated swimming...the issue is the cost sadly...I'll have to see how much it is and budget it in somewhere! Its hard enough as it is paying rent without it going up again this month :o...Another issue is the fact I swim like an elephant with an iron ball on its leg :p

I'ts nice to see someone like yourself still enjoying gym going though, hopefully one day I will be able to get back into it and actually get myself all big...Every time I try to get into it, something happens, and I just lose 6 months of training and have to start over again...Happened about three times now!

But as said before...I have had knee issues, ankle issues, elbow issues, shoulder issues now...Eye issues...Ear issues....Stomach issues....Falling apart

that is capsule and powder form, this stuff tastes horrible though and absorbs moisture from the air at an extraordinary rate, so if your going to go down the cheaper powder route, i would buy a capping kit and capsules and cap it yourself.

what does this magic pill do?

it is 100% natural made from a plant (i think its a type of cactus in india)
it is anabolic (like a natural steroid)
it is a natural painkiller (only kills pain in joints/bones,etc, not headaches)
it can supposedly repair/build new tendons
it can strengthen bones and joints
has been used for thousands of years as medicine in india (i know a lot of people dont know much about indian medicine, but ill tell you right now, some of the best doctors in the world are in india and a lot of indians actually get a lot of medical stuff done in india when they go on holiday there, because you can get the best medical care in the world for the cheapest price in the world)

theres lots of other things it has been claimed to do, i used this stuff for a few days for my shoulder after i hurt it training and it was like black magic, im going to start using it again after my physio has finished.

i know its expensive, but if you buy 1 tub and try it out, its probably the best thing you can take for joint/bone/tendon injuries.

100% natural.

Any body know where you can get a cheap kettle bell from, I'm not definitely buying just curious because there are some exercises that I like to do but can only do at the gym because of equipment and I don't have the time for such tom-foolery in my sessions.

About 20kg would be a good weight, any ideas?

Powerhouse fitness do them quite cheap in the sales and they have decent sized handles.

Picked up a 4/8/12/16KG last year for about £80 for the lot.

I've been doing a lot of upper Body work as of late - didn't make a note of my lifts (but I will today) my TP has major problems with his lower body at the moment, so we haven't done any Lower Body work for quite a long time - but I should really do some as it's been a few weeks now.

So tonight I'll do some Upper Body work and Saturday will be Lower Body & New Gym Registration :)

it's all abot the upper body work and a bit of cardio

Wrong, lower body exercises builds up the whole of your body, if you don't work the lower body, then don't bother training.

Squats and Deadlifts are without a doubt the two best exercises for building up the body, and their primary target is the lower body.

I've got a capping kit.

Depending on what your capping and hows much it can be very time consuming but worth it in the long run. 1KG of Leucine into size 00 capsules took me about 12-14 hours in total I must think.

Ah....Maybe not then.... :p

So flour pot wouldnt work? ;)

Heard somebody say similar in the gym the other day, I laughed. Exact words were more like "I don't want to do legs because knowbody's going to see them."

Bless! :p

Even if you just want to be lean, still do leg work.

Except when they go swimming or the beach, they'll look like idiots.

Or any day of summer.

I couldn't stand to be horribly imbalanced! Being more than a little on my delts annoys me a bit but they are evening up. Think I'd probably hang myself if I had legs like most people in my gym!

Same here. Had really messed up proportions before I started lifting. Lower body of a man and upper body of a 12 year old boy. I looked ridiculous! I've now evened it up a little bit but still needs a lot more work. My lower body responds really well to training and grows quickly. I've inherited this from my dad. His legs have always been huge lol, I measured his legs the other week and his calves are at about 17" and thighs nearly 27"! He's carrying a bit of fat but not overweight or anything. He did used to bike a lot in his early days tho.
