The 2014-15 Betting Thread *Spoilers*

I don't see that as a fixed match. Big money has gone on it, because it was mostly a sure thing and low odds, big money always goes that way to get a decent return.
Aberdeen were always gona win that.

The fix ones are the ones less likely to happen but oddly huge money goes on unapparent likelihoods.

The amount matched on o\u 3.5 was massive though compared to the other markets. You would expect similar amounts on o\u 4.5 and o\u 2.5 if it was just normal punters.

SOOO!! Question is, do I take my winnings and run, or make a leap of faith and stick it all on Germans to win.
Given their recent results, their odds are still fairly high. However I did stick a big whack on them on their draw with Algeria to my regrets.

To do it or not, its a decent amount at the mo, but it might be free money.

Personally I think Argentina or a draw are more likely. Argentina will most likely sit back and counter, they have the ability to defend relatively well.

Argentina, whilst not convincing in this tournament are a damn site better than Brazil in my mind.

Total fluke, saw it at 1-4 at 70 mins and decided their fate!

I'm pleased with how the WC has gone so far in terms of betting - hopefully this weekend will be a nice send-off.

For the final:

If Germany win the cup I get £70 (from a pre-tournament bet).
If Germany win in 90 mins I get £135 (from the pre-tournament bet plus the Winner enhanced odds offer).
If Argentina win the cup I get £30 (placed with 888 to get the goals bonus).

Plus a £5 free bet every time Argentina score.

I also put a £20 free bet on Messi to be top scorer pre-tournament, but that seems rather unlikely to come through. Bookies must love James Rodriguez right now.

So...fingers crossed for a 4-3 Germany win after 90 minutes with Messi scoring a hat-trick and Muller scoring less than twice.

And for tonight I've got Holland to win/BTTS.

Winner's site is not very clear as to which stake validates the 'new customer' criteria for the enhanced odds. Some are clear, whilst others are plain misleading.

They've about 4 variations of 'Germany winning' each with different odds; in 90mins? 90mins + XT? 90mins + XT + Pens? Win the World Cup?

I don't seem to be able to access the promo page. Might be because I'm an existing customer, might be because the offer has expired.

Sign up to Winner to get Germany at 11/2 to win in 90 mins or Argentina at 13/2 to win in 90 mins, plus up to £200 in Free Bets. New accounts only. Max stake £10 at enhanced odds.

That's from Oddschecker. Winner's site could certainly be more clear about the terms of the offer.

These promotions are such a scam. I signed up to Paddypower. If you bet £10, you'll get a £20 free bet, but it turns out that you don't get the same potential returns as if you would have bet the £20 yourself (it deducts the £20). Lame.
