From a Guardian article following the Times accusations over endemic drug taking in athletics

In football, blood-spinning and the muscle-building substance creatine – the latter not actually banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, but looked on with such disfavour that sportsmen and women are cautioned against its use – were in regular use at certain top Premier League clubs comparatively recently. Creatine was held responsible for the sudden change in body-shape of the players of a leading Italian club a decade ago.

Is creatine really that close to the line for the drug monitoring bodies?

Heres a question, when you guys are sticking to your macro's/daily/weekly cal's allowance, do you also factor in what exercise you've done?

For example, yesterday I did 1300cals in mountain biking meaning i had like 2800 cals for the day.... Do you guys enter your fitness into myfitnesspal or what ever you use? Or do you stick to your daily cals regardless of how much you've done in exercise?

EDIT: When losing weight ofc.

I try to eat back at least some of my exercise calories - but I think its really dependent on what your goals are. Certainly if you're looking to lose weight you wont want to make them all up but if you're looking to maintain or add a bit of muscle you're going to need to up your intake.

You should try and eat them back unless your goal is weight loss by any means.

Not eating them back will cause too much of a deficit which will accelerate the weight loss but sacrifice muscle and prove unsustainable. The long game is king when it comes to dieting, slow and steady.

Ah ok cheers guys. Yeah weight loss i'm going for with some tone up. I'm not fat by any means, but have a proper dad bod coming.

I cycle twice a week and burn around 2500 cals a week doing it. Plus what ever i burn doing 90 mins weight's sessions.

How far do you cycle? 2500 kcal is a lot to burn cycling. I speak as someone that usually cycles 150-300 miles per week :)

I think it much preferable to eat to your activity levels over a longer period than 1 day / a week.
Set a kcal goal - stick to it - track the affect it has on your body / weight - adjust accordingly.

This needs to be done over a period of a few weeks at least to get in tune with how your body reacts

Any of you guys used bulkpowders.co.uk? Over 6000 positive reviews on trust pilot but all reviewed from guys with 1 review to their usernames. So not very trusting...

Someone just mentioned BP this morning so thought i would have wonder. Alright prices but not too many flavours and the real-ish reviews i could find said they taste disgusting.
