A little question; apart from squats and deadlifts are there many other leg exercises that I can do at home with just a bench (incline/decline), dumbells and barbell?
 

The principle works on the premise of oxidative stress. If you block the circulation to the working muscle, H+ ions an dlactate will build up in the contractile tissue, putting them under enormous oxidative stress. As such, they adapt 'more' than otherwise because the respective oncentrations are higher.

But the question of whether or not it affects fast/slow twitch fibres is somewhat irrelevant: the muscles that can be exercised using BFR is very small and are generally only stabilising muscles (calves, biceps/triceps), therefore whether or not they contract fast/slow is a pointless distinction to make. All the interesting muscle groups work in compound movements and cannot really have the blood flow restricted (chest? Back? Glutes? Quads?). You might be able to do it on your quads, but I would NOT want to try this.

Does anybody have trouble sleeping while suffering from DOMS?

I had probably my hardest ever leg session on Monday, was really feeling it. Had an awful nights sleep Monday and then yesterday when the DOMS really hit I doubt I got more than 2 hours proper sleep.

It could be because I'm a massive mangina though.
 
My legs are killing me.....last 3 weeks I've been keeping with the 5x5, hack squats as don't have a squat stand and even during the warm up I could feel the outside of my thighs screaming. Up to 65.5kg, I can still complete them which is the strange thing but the after strain is putting me off from increase the weight's again.

Man up? Do I need to change my warm up perhaps, I do 2x5 at 37.5, then add 10kg and do 3 more till I hit my max. Or is the reality of running on my rest days messing up my recovery?
 
Holy crap, looks like something to use in agriculture, will I be able to plant some corn after usage?

Thanks for the advice, shall find and try some foam rolling see if that helps.

Also stretch out your quads, too. Google "couch stretch."

And the Rumble Roller - even the black one - gets a bit uninteresting after a while. I eventually resorted to a rolling pin...
