*** The 2017 Gym Rats Thread ***

Smolov squat DOMS are real, I've got the final day of week one tomorrow, not had any bench DOMS yet and have completed week one. Calories are through the roof, and quality/depth of sleep is intense - probably not getting quite enough hours though.

Good to know that it hasn't killed you yet though. :p I like my gym but I'm now considering leaving. Twice in a row I've seen people curling in the power rack. Luckily I managed to channel my rage into my workout. :D

had my 1 on 1 session. i'm sooooo unfit :(
still training routine is set for the next 6-8 weeks and then i'll change it up.

it can only get better from here on in. :D

Done some dead lifts yesterday after not doing them for around four weeks, still managed to hit my current 1RM of 160kg, pretty happy!

So, I'm finally going to a real gym (always gone to the shoddy one at work)
I've got an induction this weekend........what can I expect at an induction?!?

Ideally I'm looking to start a stronglifts plan, but would ideally like some sort of guidance on squatting form etc.
Is that usually something that's extra?

You can expect some "PT" to look thoroughly bored while showing you how to operate the myriad of machines and that's about it really.
