I was very lucky to be honest - loki created a host of chances,with some decent strikers it could have easily gone the other way.

2nd was probably the most stressful i have ever played- won with a sheva penalty, and it only just went in!

good games mate, I was getting so infuriated with my team last night and them being scared of the ball, stupid ozzies. :)

And the penalty in the first game :o I just mashed all the buttons in desperation trying to press triangle but I caught square instead. :o

Agreed on the scores. 2 good games with the second one seeing me shouting at the screen for most of it :p

I think your team suffered from a weak front line, they were all too easy to push off the ball. Though you were giving me some scares in the second game and were unlucky not to put a few away.

I have started to put the qualifiers into the knock out tables for those who are interested.

I'll be on lateish tonight and (hopefully) slightly earlier tomorrow afternoon/evening as well to finish my group games. Still have to play Loki and Pseudo.

Edit: Screw the git. Hes got far too much health in comparison to my patience :p. Give me a message when you're done eating and i'll be ready to play :).

Second was great, I was lucky to come away with a win and not a draw, you piled on the pressure with some really good passing. Well played.

Second game my players just weren't responding to anything I tried. Try to pass it and i'd be lucky if they didn't try a heel flick. Was ridiculous, I didn't even tell him to slide in on your penalty :/. So disappointed but well played, you shut me out several times in the second game and had it not been for my lack of McCarthy in that game I may have finished one of those seven one on ones.
 
Just a thought Jonny. As there's knockouts for the first and second placed teams, followed by knockouts for third and fourth placed teams, why don't we set up a knockout for those who finish 5th? Of course it depends if they are up for it but it keeps everyone involved after the group stages :).

Got a good hiding to be honest. Couldnt handle big john carew (hat-trick), was 4 nil down in the first half. PLayed better in the second half but still not upto scratch.

Second game - typical fifa - defender miss kicked and big JC was there to knock it in!
