Got a good hiding to be honest. Couldnt handle big john carew (hat-trick), was 4 nil down in the first half. PLayed better in the second half but still not upto scratch.

Second game - typical fifa - defender miss kicked and big JC was there to knock it in!

Confirmed - first game I seemed to just take any chance I got in the first half - first goal was a cracker if I say so myself. Allowed me to relax in the 2nd half so didn't get too many more chances.

Think in second game you worked out my flaws and kept chipping away at them. Just tried to counter and got a goal or two for my trouble.

Both games the score flattered me - ggs mate - Ukraine are a useful team...

Hmm dno how I kept a clean sheet - you kept counter attacking me swiftly and just had to rely on you shooting from range or your strikers not doing what you wanted them to. Again I took my chances when I had them - so few and far between...

Good game though - expect the rematch to be tougher...

Sorry I had to dash off matey, it's my dad's birthday today so have family things to attend to.

Will hopefully be back on after midnight if you're still about; if not I'll have to beat you tomorrow.

Incidentally do you have a keyboard for your PS3? You seem to type faster than I can even access the messaging menu! Sorry if it seemed like I wasn't replying, but I'm too slow!!!

A little tighter than the scoreline suggests, although I lost any sort of touch after going a couple down.

Enjoyed the friendlies though, both really good games! It's lucky that Babel's bicycle kick didn't go in, or I'd have creamed myself.

Score confirmed - game was like the first where I just had better chances in the box. Was end-to-end though...

Was ridiculous, I didn't even tell him to slide in on your penalty :/. So disappointed but well played, you shut me out several times in the second game and had it not been for my lack of McCarthy in that game I may have finished one of those seven one on ones.

Wp, belgium are officially the worse team ever! slow, useless and the turning circle of david beckham. Glad to see the back of them

i got one word for my team slow they are so slow its unbelieveable i would swap my team for any team this tourney is a bit like f1 all depends on the team you are not the player i feel both games should have been draws

my team (switzerland) are no faster than yours, I guess it depends if you normally play using man utd/barc etc etc

no way both games should've been draws! esp the 2nd game, I had 14 shots to your 2.... and hit the post 4 times

Going off the back off isacs request - perhaps it's worth having a seperate tourny for the 5th place guys as I think it's more the teams they had than their skill. With maniac111s game he definitely had more skill than Austria could muster - I just could absorb most of it...

Yea I'd be up for that definately, although I'm off on holiday from the 17th of September so I'm not sure whether it would get done in time? I guess it would if it was just semis and a final.

Anyway, I'm still hoping to make a cheeky push for 4th with my remaining games against Loki :D

Last I checked (yesterday) Eddie_Arsenal hadn't been on for 3 days so probably 4 days now. I've yet to play him too but there's no sign of him yet.

Hmm... not so good, try and get all your other games played, if he isn't going to play I will finalize your group based on just the four remaining players.

I think Jamesbcd and Gatidd might know Eddie, if so can you see if he's going to be able to play?
